Hi, I'm Heidi.

I am a National Board-Certified Sports Massage Therapist and fitness instructor with over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry as a practitioner, educator, and business owner. I hold a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in massage therapy with a minor in health care management. I value education and high standards for the health and fitness industry.

My mission is to motivate others to incorporate wellness and the joy of movement/sports into their lives. I'm grateful for what massage and fitness have added to my quality of life. It's something I'm very passionate about and for many years I've worked to share that gift. While I've enjoyed working with diverse populations and in various settings over the years, I find the greatest satisfaction in working with my Southeast Michigan clientele.

As a therapist, I employ a variety of theory and evidence-based applications of massage therapy techniques and modalities, specializing in sports massage and manual therapy. The bulk of these applications are derived from Russian medical massage protocols, which looks at the individual holistically.

My goal is to facilitate a response in the body's soft tissue and movement patterns to induce a therapeutic change. Whether you're a professional athlete searching performance enhancement, wanting to excel at a favorite leisure sport/workout, or are an individual suffering from chronic pain, I employ a variety of techniques to help you achieve your goals. 

Please note, my massage techniques are extremely specialized; therefore, I require a 90-minute treatment session.
